Artificial Intelligence made a big, bold move forward when ChatGPT was publicly released on November 30, 2022. What was mainly known only to technology lovers became top-line news worldwide when it was revealed that Open AI’s chatbot could write legibly, clearly, and accurately.

A Woman, A Move, and Social Media

Like many people, I was puzzled when I saw that this week, Edmonton (Alberta, Canada) and Cactus Club (a Canadian mid-scale restaurant chain) were trending together on social media platforms.

The reason was a story published in the magazine Toronto Life about a woman who had picked up and moved from Toronto (actually, Mississauga, a large city adjacent to Toronto) to Edmonton and then returned within three months because of dissatisfaction. The article was written by Jackie Thomas, a 33-year-old corporate trainer, about her recent decision to move to Edmonton and then back within a few months.
